Due to the mixed rain and snow event occurring today, we are unable to open today, Sunday March 12th, 2023. Again, we are apologize to all of our patrons who were planning to visit us today, unfortunately this weather is not good for our tubing lane speed and does not provide our guests with a good tubing experience. We want our employees to be safe getting to and from work as well, and with the flooding in some of our neighborhoods, we’ve decided to close today to keep everyone safe and off the roads. We thank you for your understanding and please know we are trying our best to open our doors but unfortunately cannot control Mother Nature. #sunshineonthehorizon ...

We are so sorry but unfortunately, against our best intentions, we will be closed today, Saturday, March 11th. We did our best to try to open but with the rain on top of the snow, it creates a glue-like consistency for our tubes and our tubing lanes don’t slide like we want them to. We know that many of you are looking for fun things to do and have made plans to be at TubeTahoe today and for that, we are sorry we are unable to open. The tubing experience you have is important to us and today it just wouldn’t be a good experience at all. Thank you for your understanding and check back for updates for the rest of the week. We know this winter has been so insanely wild for everyone living in and coming to Tahoe but finishing on a positive note, sunny ☀️ bluebird days are ahead! ...

FAQ

Do I need to make a reservation?

No. Tubing is on a first come, first served basis. Please note that our parking lot has a limited number of spaces (50).

Are there any age restrictions for tubing?

Children under the age of 3 are not allowed to tube down our large lanes — there is a Children’s Tubing Hill that they can play on below our large lanes.  Ages 3-5 must tube with an adult when going down our large lanes.

Where can I park?

We have designated parking in the shared parking lot with Holiday Market on Highway 50. You’ll see signs and we will have team members in the lot to help you park in an appropriate spot. It’s very important that you do not park anywhere but in designated spots in our parking lot. Visitors parking on the side of Highway 50 or in non-designated areas will be asked to re-park.

Do I need to bring equipment or a tube?

No equipment is needed. Tube rentals are included with each ticket. For liability reasons, we do not allow visitors to bring their own tubes or sleds.

Is there an age?

To ride alone, you must be older than 5 years old.

Are pets allowed?

As much as we love our furry friends, unfortunately, we do not allow dogs or any other animals at TubeTahoe as we aren’t sure how they will react to the kids and the tubes. Thank you for understanding. Of course, service animals are allowed.

How should I dress?

Winter can be chilly in Tahoe! We strongly recommend that you check the weather and dress accordingly when you visit TubeTahoe. On most days, that means comfortable winter boots, a winter jacket, insulated pants or snow pants, gloves and goggles.

In case you forget, we’ll have most of these items available for purchase in our retail store.

Should I wear a helmet?

Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended, but not required. We provide helmets for rental.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, all tubers must sign a waiver prior to tubing. The waiver may be signed upon arrival or you can print the waiver, sign in advance and bring it with you. All minors must have a parent or guardian sign for them.

Click here to fill out the waiver online.

Click here for a printable version of our waiver.

Can more than one person ride in a tube?

For safety reasons, we only allow minors under 42” to ride on a tube with an adult. All other riders must ride alone. No more than 3 tubes to a lane at one time and you MUST link together to prevent serious injury.
